Grant Youth Baseball (GYB) is a community-based, non-profit, and volunteer-run program that helps to keep middle school kids playing and developing in the game of baseball. All GYB games are played on full-size fields, the same size used for the high school to the major leagues.
GYB bridges the gap between two thriving Little Leagues and a Grant High School program that was ranked #1 in the state in 2021. Our program relies on volunteers to coach, organize, and plan baseball for the more than 100 kids that participate in our program annually.
Our teams participate in the Junior Baseball Organization (JBO) during the Spring season, with additional opportunities to play in weekend tournaments. We also offer developmental Fall baseball in September and October.
ABOUT JBO:
JBO consists of more than 80 local associations broken into 3 districts - Clackamas County, Westside, and Valley. GYB plays in the Clackamas County District. JBO allows for a vibrant regular season, with the top teams qualifying for County and State tournaments. JBO also sponsors weekend tournaments that some GYB teams compete in (these are outside of the regular season games).
